Day 01
Arrive at Narita International
Airport.
Meet / assist upon arrival transfer
to a local restaurant for dinner.
After dinner check-in to hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast at
hotel.
After breakfast depart for a full day
city tour of Tokyo, first visit the
Asakusa Kannon
Temple; the oldest and most popular temple in
Tokyo. Enjoy shopping at Nakamise Shopping Street, a colourful
arcade leading to the temple, crammed with canned food and
souvenir shops. Visits to the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower
(150m observatory deck.)
Lunch at a local
restaurant.
After lunch continue the tour
visiting the Odaiba Tokyo Bay area and
see some remarkable shopping buildings, big Ferris wheel and
Rainbow bridge which characterize this waterfront area. Enjoy
the Sumida River Cruise. Then visit
Shinjuku for further shopping.

DAY
3
Breakfast at
hotel.
After breakfast check-out from hotel
and proceed to Hakone.
Upon arrival embark on a delightful cruise on Lake Ashi aboard
a large sightseeing boat.
Lunch at a local
restaurant.
In the afternoon proceed to
Mt. Fuji or Fujiyama also
Fuji-san, is the celebrated dormant volcano of
Japan, situated on southern part of Honshu Island, near Tokyo.
It is also the highest mountain in Japan and rises as a cone to
a height of 3776m (12,389 ft) above sea level, with the apex
broken by a cone-shaped crater 610m (2000 ft) in
diameter.
Drive halfway up Mt. Fuji to the
Fifth Station (altitude of 2,305m) and enjoy the best of
natures scenery en-route.

4
Breakfast at
hotel.
After breakfast check-out from hotel
and transfer to Tokyo station to take the bullet train to
Osaka.
Osaka is one of the largest cities in Japan, both in area and
population. It ranks among the busiest ports in the
nation. Osaka is a major industrial city and a financial
and commercial center.
Upon arrival in Osaka lunch
at a local restaurant.
After lunch visit the Osaka
castle noted for its magnificence and the
immense stone used in its construction. Thereafter visit Osaka
Aquarium Kaiyukan and view the splendid dazzling sea
creatures
Dinner at a local
restaurant.
After dinner check-in to hotel.

5
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast leave for
Kyoto.
Kyoto is famed for such fine handicrafts such as silk brocades,
bronzes, cloisonn and damascene work, porcelain and lacquer
ware. Long, a leading religious and cultural center, the city
is the site of more than 2000 ancient temples and shrines, 37
universities and colleges and 24 museums. The city is known for
its annual festivals and its beautiful gardens
.
Visit the Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) the most
authentic and exquisite Japanese style gardening in the world.
After that visit Kiyomizu Temple and enjoy a
sweeping view of the entire city from its lofty
terrace.
Lunch at a local
restaurant.
After lunch visit the
Handicraft center and Nijo
Castle and a quick stop at the splendid Heian Jingu
Shrine.
Dinner at a local
restaurant.
After dinner return to hotel
for overnight stay.
DAY 6
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast proceed to Nara.
Nara is situated in the southern part of Honshu Island, near
Osaka. The principle manufactures are Indian ink, fans and
toys. Nara Park contains one of the largest bronze statues in
the world, a 16.2 m (53.5 ft) statue of Buddha. Also in Nara
are the temples of Kasuga and Todai-ji. From 710 to 784, Nara
was the first permanent capital of Japan. It is the home of
Nara Womens University.
Visit the Todaiji
Temple and view the Great Buddha in
the worlds largest wooden building.
Lunch at a local
restaurant.
After lunch before returning to
Osaka visits to Namba and
Shinsaibashi where you can have free time for
shopping.
Afternoon at leisure.
Evening transfer to a local
restaurant for dinner.
After dinner return to hotel
for overnight stay.
DAY
7
Breakfast at
hotel.
After breakfast check-out from
hotel.
Transfer to
Shin-Osaka station to take the bullet
train to Hiroshima.
Hiroshima is situated on a part of southwestern Honshu Island
at the head of Hiroshima Bay. The city was founded in 1594on
six islands in the Ota River delta. Hiroshima grew rapidly as a
castle town and commercial city and after 1868 it was developed
as a military center. On August 06th 1945 during World War II
the first atomic bomb to be used against an enemy position was
dropped on the city.
After the war the city was largely rebuilt, and commercial
activities were resumed. Machinery, automobiles, food
processing and the brewing of Sake (the famous liquor made from
rice) are the main industries. The surrounding area, although
mountainous has fertile valleys where silk, rice and wheat are
produced.
Upon arrival at Hiroshima
lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon visit Peace
Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Museum.
Afterwards check-in to
hotel.
Evening transfer to a local
restaurant for dinner.
After dinner return to hotel
for overnight stay.
DAY 8
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast check-out from hotel
and transfer to Miyajima, also known as
Itsukushima. Visit the Itsukushima
Shrine a world heritage.
Lunch at a local
restaurant.
Afternoon visit the Shukkeien
Garden (a beautiful Japanese Garden).
Evening transfer to Hiroshima station to take the bullet train
to Osaka.
Upon arrival in Osaka transfer to a local restaurant for
dinner.
After dinner check-in to
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast transfer to
Kansai International Airport for departure
flight to Colombo.
Day 10
Arrive in Colombo.
